They bring the wonderful selections of fine Italian sauces, breads, pastas, pizzas, salads, desserts, and more, from their small town on the outskirts of Naples, Italy, called Monte di Procida just for you. Teo’s passion for food and everything taking place in the kitchen began at an early age, observing his mother and grandmother as they prepared their fantastic family meals. His professional career started in Naples, Italy, working in local Italian restaurants and wonderful pizzerias, during this “hands on” period he learned the art of Pizza. He later came to the United States always working in Italian Restaurants and Pizzerias.
Today with Teo’s refined skills and years of experience he is here at Il Colosseo in Salisbury, NC, where he, his brother-in-law, Francesco, who attended a renown culinary school and also worked in local restaurants and pizzerias in Naples, Italy, and Teo’s wife, Salverita (Sal), who always has a smile on her face to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Together they share the tradition and passion it takes to cook and serve fresh authentic Italian meals. Anytime, any day, you are sure to find Teo, Francesco, or Sal at Il Colosseo Restaurant.
